One of the rarest and most misunderstood philodendrons, the Philodendron Obliqua ‘Amazonas’ is often confused with Monstera adansonii, but there’s no mistaking its signature ultra-thin leaves, which are more hole than leaf. This collector’s plant is a true lacework of green tissue and fenestration, requiring high humidity and an experienced hand—but oh, the payoff.
Its delicate appearance is matched by a surprisingly fast-growing vining habit when given optimal conditions, making it both fragile and fascinating.
Care: Requires bright, filtered light and 70%+ humidity. Water when the top layer of soil begins to dry. Best suited to terrarium-like conditions or a dedicated plant cabinet. Not safe for pets.
